Well, I hope everyone out there has “sprang forward”, the sun was out earlier and all that jazz. I, for one, am not a fan of changing the clocks. It’s a pain in the neck and just deal with what time it is. When I was on the road, a town in Indiana was very confusing, half the town was on Daylight Saving and not the other half.
Congratulations to our Glen Lake School basketball teams girls and boys, I won’t know the outcome of some of the games because I have to write this little ditty before they play. The girls will play for the Regionals, in Kalkaska, they already have the District Championship Trophy and the boys will play the next evening on the 12th the quarter finals with Sacred Heart Academy. I hope to have good news next week. Good luck to both of them Well, here we go again, on St. Patty’s Day everyone is Irish. The Glen Arbor Pub Crawl will be held of all times on St. Patty’s Day. Starting at 1 p.m., The pub crawl will begin at M-22 and then it will go on and finish at 5 p.m. at Arts Tavern for music and more fun. Almost everyone is Irish, however, my grandfather came to the U.S. from England and would never say he was Irish, a staunch Englishman.
