Donald Lee Schopieray, aged 86, a beloved resident of Traverse City, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 20, 1938, to William and Hattie (Levinski) Schopieray, Don’s life was marked by love, dedication, and a zest for adventure. It was at Munson Hospital where he crossed paths with the love of his life, Pauline Marie Kaltenbach. Their union in 1956 was the beginning of a beautiful journey that saw them raise six wonderful children together.
