Reception set for By Hand

The Glen Arbor Art Center will launch its By Hand project with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 29.

By Hand — an exhibition and four topical discussions — is consideration of the myriad ways in which the human hand is intrinsic to creative work; and the demonstration of what human hands can make.

The By Hand project runs March 29 through May 30, and offers a range of programs that explore this theme through the visual, performing, architectural, and literary arts. The opening reception is free, as is the public event.
