Lois “Ann” Grant

1940 ~ 2024 Lois “Ann” Grant, age 83, of Prosper, Texas passed away at home, surrounded by her husband and children, on March 6, 2024 due to complications from Multiple Myeloma and Osteoporosis. Born July 15, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to Richard Campbell Jugenheimer and Lois Marie (Wright) Jugenheimer, she was the oldest of four children.

Lois “Ann” Grant, age 83, of Prosper, Texas passed away at home, surrounded by her husband and children, on March 6, 2024 due to complications from Multiple Myeloma and Osteoporosis. Born July 15, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to Richard Campbell Jugenheimer and Lois Marie (Wright) Jugenheimer, she was the oldest of four children.

Ann attended Mercy College in Detroit, graduating initially with a Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology and many years later, with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After moving to Dallas in 1978, she completed her graduate nursing degree at the University of Texas – Arlington. She was a licensed Nurse Practitioner specializing in Geriatrics and used her training in Dallas, Richardson and Plano working on affordable housing for seniors, providing care in senior center health care clinics and assisting with and participating in senior educational programs. Most recently, Ann was involved in the Town of Prosper CERT Program (Community Emergency Response Team) working as a volunteer with the fire department on disaster preparedness.
