St. Mary Senior, Kendra Couturier won first place in the Grand Traverse Right to Life and Grand Traverse Teens for Life oratory contest, sponsored the Robert DeVol Memorial. She was awarded $300 for her speech and will now compete at the state competition on May 25 in East Lansing.
