A plea agreement has been reached in the Angela Rose Schocko case.

In 13th Circuit Court Tuesday, Schocko pleaded guilty to one count each of delivery of a controlled substance (Soboxone) and tampering with evidence— both felonies. For the respective charges, Leelanau County Prosecutor Joseph T. Hubbell said Schocko will face prison time of up to 7 years and up to 4 years, which could run consecutively depending on the court’s discretion. *** A federal lawsuit filed last year against Elmwood Township by controversial “wedding barn” owner Frank Noverr is slowly grinding forward in a federal courthouse in Grand Rapids. Last week, attorneys for Noverr filed an amended complaint against the township, seeking a jury trial, monetary damages, and a judgment that provisions of the township’s zoning ordinance violate the U.S. Constitution.
