The field of candidates for election in Leelanau County is growing slowly.
Prosecutor Joseph T. Hubbell filed as a Republican Tuesday to the Aug. 6 Primary election. His is the latest filing among incumbents seeking reelection.
Sheriff Mike Borkovich filed his paperwork last week; John A. Gallagher III, is seeking the Republican nomination for the county treasurer’s post; and Jennifer Grant, for register of deeds.
