‘Borkovich dedicated’

To the editor:

My father is a retired Police officer who often served numerous political officials whether he agreed with them or not. His duty, like Sheriff Borkovich, was always to the people he represented and not to one political party. I applaud Sheriff Borkovich for attending the Round Table to bring awareness to the challenges our County faces.

The issues we deal with are not political. They are real problems and affect everyone. Drugs and human trafficking know no social, racial, geographical, economic, or political boundaries. Sheriff Borkovich is dedicated to protecting all of Leelanau County residents from these potential problems.
