‘Vacation day?’

To the editor:

I note that Leelanau County’s Sheriff must have taken a vacation day to attend Trump’s liefest in Grand Rapids on Tuesday.

Someone should check to be sure he didn’t use a County vehicle to get there and that he DID take a vacation day for his time away from his duties. And he should be chastised for wearing his uniform as if “representing” a county which did NOT vote for Trump.
