‘Disdains the rule of law

To the editor:

Sheriff Borkovich stood onstage beside a twiceimpeached ex-president (not convicted), who’s accused of sexual abuse and financial fraud, who attacks judges and prosecutors, who allowed police to be bloodied by his insurrectionists, who disdains the rule of law. To this lawless figure, Leelanau’s top lawman lends his tacit endorsement.

Borkovich claims “We like people and want them to be safe.”Which people? Women? Black people? Gays? Jews? Trump’s brand is Hate Thy Neighbors, unless they are White, Christian, male, Republicans, who he also preys upon and swindles. Still, Borkovich literally stands by him. Way to protect and serve, Sheriff!
