Sidewalks OK’d by township

Spring activities dominated conversation this week by the Leland Township Board.

The board during its regular monthly meeting Monday acted on proposals that signal the arrival of spring and warmer weather.

They approved sidewalk replacement on Grand Avenue and River Street in the unincorporated village of Leland. They also agreed to seek an estimate for sidewalk replacement on the north side of M-204 in Lake Leelanau.
