Leelanau County youth are invited to join over 1,000 young people for three days of fun, adventure and learning at 4-H Exploration Days 2024.
“You’ve Found Your Place; Now Let’s Grow!” is the theme for this annual 4-H event, held Wednesday, June 19 through Friday, June 21 on the campus of Michigan State University.
Participants may choose sessions such as sign language, a day in the life of a vet, sewing, producing a TV show, writing, horses, dogs, pickleball, running, or taking part in shooting sports like archery and pellet rifle — there are over 100 different action-packed options. When not involved with their learning sessions, students may experience recreation and MSU tour choices such as the MSU Breslin Center, the Dairy Store, National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, and the 4-H Children’s Garden.
