LAKE LEELANAU - Patricia Lynn McNeil, 57, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, at the Munson Hospice House in Traverse City surrounded by family. Born on June 26, 1966, in Traverse City, Michigan, Patricia was the second daughter of Elinor (Schuster) and Arthur McNeil Sr.
Patricia graduated from St. Mary’s School in 1985 and pursued further education by taking classes at Northwestern Michigan College. She cherished the outdoors, finding solace in activities like hiking, with Pyramid Point being her favorite trail. Patricia had a passion for softball and was known for her devotion to the game. Her faith in God was unwavering, and she found joy in making others laugh with her quick wit and humor. Patricia spent several years living in Florida, where she welcomed her daughter, Chavela, into the world. Eventually, she returned to Northern Michigan to be closer to her family.
