Sheriff Borkovich says the only reason he traveled to Grand Rapids was to discuss border issues with Donald Trump. No, watch the video. Borkovich could have attended the pre-meeting and politely declined the rally. Instead, before Trump appeared, Borkovich scooted by others on stage and specifically stopped near the podium’s sign of “Stop Biden’s Border Bloodbath.” Borkovich applauded an endorsement for Trump as president. Borkovich willingly allowed himself to be a prop for a candidate who whips up hatred for migrants and who recently blocked a Bidensupported border bill endorsed by the National Border Patrol Council of law enforcement agents.
