Marcy Lou (Ackerberg) McGhee, 65, of Baldwin (formerly Suttons Bay), passed away April 5, 2024, at Meijer Heart Center. Marcy was born May 26, 1958, to Betty “Ma” Lorraine (Bergman) and Edward “Ed” Arvid Ackerberg, in Muskegon, Michigan. She graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central in 1976. Marcy married Gary McGhee, July 20, 1991.
Marcy began working at NMEC/Alta Equipment Company as office manager, in August of 2001 and after 19 years, retired in 2020. She also worked in multiple local establishments including the Oasis in Branch, Government Lake Lodge and Sportsman’s Bar of Baldwin (which her parents owned each place at one point).
