Frankfort defeated Glen Lake softball team in both games Tuesday 8-2, 14-3 during a Northwest Conference opener.
Paige Flores was the losing pitcher with two strikeouts and six innings pitched. Elodia Peplinski went 2-3, and Ella Flores drove in both runs during game one.
In game two, Jessie Pugh was the losing pitcher with three innings pitched. Grace Noonan went 2-3 and hit her first career home run. Elodia Peplinksi went 2-3, Ella Flores drove in two runs, and Lexi Aylsworth contributed a pinch-hit double.
ONEKAMA DEFEATS SB
Suttons Bay took a pair of losses against conference foe Onekama 16-0, 16-0 on Tuesday.
In game one, Ella Ingwerson took the loss. Stacia Shananaquet took the loss in the second game. Eli Marshall and Keke Williams each had singles. Keke and Stacia made two phenomenal catches in a very windy game yesterday.
The Norse will continue looking for its first win of the season as the Norse battles Buckley at home on Tuesday.
