A gathering is slated for Thursday, May 2 in observation of the National Day of Prayer.
The event, scheduled for noon at the Veteran’s Memorial Plaza, is a interdenominational, non-political gathering for community members to spend a few moments in prayer.
The theme for this gathering is “Lift up the world, light up the world.”
