Parenting Communities of Leelanau County (PCLC) support new parents who are often far removed from their own families. Without help, inevitable parenting challenges can raise fears of inadequacy. The PCLC models good parenting practices at a time when the most critical cognitive changes in a child’s development are taking place. PCLC boosts parenting skills and confidence through research based educational and interactive programs. Former participants give the PCLC programs five star ratings for helping them develop both thriving children and families.
