Three nonprofits will each receive $116,000 in transformational funding after Impact100 selects the recipients by membership vote in September.

The Traverse City Impact100 chapter has maintained more than 300 members for the past several years and has an aspiration goal to recruit at least 400 women by the 2025 membership deadline, which would enable it to award four grants.

“In this challenging economy, our community nonprofits and neighbors need us more than ever,” Impact100 Traverse City President Lindsay Raymond said. “We’re excited to review this year’s grant proposals, and bring our total award given out to nonprofits in this five-county region to over $2.4 million in just eight years.”

Nonprofits from the fivecounty area may submit funding requests across the five focus areas of arts & culture, education, environment & recreation, family, and health and wellness at www.impacttc.org/grants. The deadline for applications is May 24.

Impact100 is an all-women, all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit serving Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties that ahas granted over $2.1 million since its inception in 2017. Each member provides an annual $1,000 donation that is collectively granted in $100,000 increment to support regional nonprofits with transformation funding.
