4:50 a.m. — Empire Township — Two bulls in the road.
9:45 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Wellness check request. Caller has been banging on the door and no response. Car is parked there. (Nothing found.)
11:12 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Semi in ditch. Heavy duty wrecker called.
2:02 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Subject with minor hand injury stopped in at fire station. Refuses transport.
4:13 p.m. — Solon Township — Two-car accident. Both vehicles in the ditch. Caller not able to go to the accident but believes a female may be injured. Conscious but kind of out of it.
Female can’t get her door open and hit her head.
9:06 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Audi A6, dark blue is broke down along the side of the road just north of Woolsey Airport. Driver will be having someone help tow tomorrow morning.
11:56 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller’s son took her 2007 Ford Explorer, beige. He wanted to go to Traverse City. (Deputies stopped the vehicle on M-72, near Bright Road. Family friend showed up to speak with the subject.)
Thursday, May 2
6:37 a.m. — Bingham Township — Silver Malibu stopped. Motorist was driving with a suspended license. Wrecker requested.
8:59 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Parking issue on Omena Point Road. Construction workers were instructed to keep all of their vehicles on one side of the road to allow for emergency vehicle passage.
9:02 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Law enforcement checking on a report of a toddler walking around unattended (Child is home with grandmother and is fine, per law enforcement.)
11:19 a.m. — Cleveland Township — Medium sized, mixed breed, black and white dog at large. Attacking caller’s dog.
11:28 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone hit the building. No injuries reported.
11:45 a.m. — Bingham Township — Welfare check requested for male who had statements about harming himself after a breakup. (Contact made. Male denies making any harmful statements.)
10:52 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Law enforcement checking on a mother and son. They were called by one of their social workers requesting a welfare check. (Contact made with mom. Son is fine and staying with family.)
Friday, May 3
12:45 a.m. — Bingham Township — Someone standing in the middle of S. West Bay Shore Dr. Jumping in the road just south of Hilltop. Seemed like they were doing it on purpose. Male. Taller.
Skinny. Light skinned. Wearing dark clothing with a beanie. Caller had to slow and swerve not to hit him. (Law enforcement drove through. No sightings.)
1:07 p.m. — Centerville Township — Scammer gained access to an email string and contacted the caller for a down payment. Got suspicious and contacted the real contractor by phone.
1:44 p.m. — Leland Township — Cows in the road.
Saturday, May 4
1:42 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Male has been missing since he left his job this afternoon. Driving a dark green Nissan Pathfinder.
3:09 a.m. — Empire Township — Deputy checking a vehicle parked in the beach parking lot.
1:51 p.m. — Leland Township — Subject stopped in the Sheriff’s Office to report a cow in the road, south of Lake Leelanau about 1/2-mile and then west.
1:54 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Staff member having a psychotic problem. (Taken in to custody.)
4:06 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two subjects fighting in the road. Both parties had been riding the BATA bus and were dropped off.
6:53 p.m. — Elmwood Township — White Jeep cutting people off and driving erratically.
10:18 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Deputy checking a vehicle at Omena Beach.
Sunday, May 5
7:03 a.m. — Bingham Township — Loud boat complaint.
1:16 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Ongoing problem with long term parking along the roadway. Trucks and trailers.
1:55 p.m. — Leland Township — Three hot dogs in a car. White Toyota Land Cruiser.
5:17 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor’s Australian Shepherd attacked caller’s two Pugs. No need for medical attention. Both dogs barked at each other and neighbor’s dog got through a plastic snow fence when the attack took place.
5:36 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Black Chevy going 40 mph through subdivision. Someone that lives in the subdivision.
6:16 p.m. — Leland Township — Handgun in holster found in the restroom.
Monday, May 6
6:01 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller states her ex is intoxicated and threatening her.
9:51 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Someone broke into the Bahle warming hut and did some damage to the building.
10:39 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Couple screaming. Can hear her through the woods and she went into a house. (No assault. Parties will separate for the afternoon.)
10:57 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller got a letter from AT&T that her information has been compromised. Became suspicious and contacted bank directly. Has not lost any money but would like to speak with law enforcement about the notifications she received.
12:11 p.m. — Kasson Township — Customer involved in scam. Mailing debit card.
12:39 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Found a dead bald eagle on the beach.
2:57 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller’s sister keeps calling her saying she feared for her life.
4:14 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Assault and battery.
4:27 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Subject received a text from “Huntington Fraud” asking if she made charges at CVS. Said they would walk her through transferring her money into another account.
4:44 p.m. — Bingham Township — Neighbor’s dogs are always barking. Not sure if they are being cared for. Currently, one of them appears to be stuck in some “netting.”
5:09 p.m. — Solon Township — Air B&B ring camera showed a man walking around the front and side of the house. No car in the driveway.
Tuesday, May 7
2:37 p.m. — Kasson Township — Employee took check book that belongs to the caller and wrote over $1,000 in checks.
