The Empire Asparagus Festival is accepting poem submissions for the Empire Asparagus Festival’s “Ode to Asparagus” poetry contest.
Poems must be submitted by May 31 online at info@glenlakelibrary. net; snail mail to: GLCL, P.O. Box 325, Empire, MI 49630 or simply dropped it off at the library.
Poems will be shared/recited at the annual contest scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1 at the library.
