Huge turnout for Leelanau Reads event

Over 300 people attended the Leelanau Community Read event with New York Times best selling author William Kent Krueger Saturday at the Northport Performing Arts Center. The Leelanau Community Read was organized by the Leelanau County public libraries as a shared literary experience for all county residents over four years ago as an annual event.

Over 300 people attended the Leelanau Community Read event with New York Times best selling author William Kent Krueger Saturday at the Northport Performing Arts Center.

The Leelanau Community Read was organized by the Leelanau County public libraries as a shared literary experience for all county residents over four years ago as an annual event.

Saturday night’s program was by far the most ambitious and well attended of the entire series.
