RESOLUTION!

Lake Leelanau, Michigan December 21, 1941. Whereas, Glenn Bork Kirt, the son of Charles F. and Minna Bork Kirt, has always been known to us as an upright young man of good Christian principles; a graduate of St. Mary’s School, active in its affairs’; and dear to the people of this village; And whereas, he made the supreme sacrifice to help save Democracy and to protect and defend our country; And whereas, the members of St. Mary’s Parish, Lake Leelanau, Michigan, are deeply grieved and shocked to hear of his untimely passing; Therefore be it resolved, that we, the members of the National Council of Catholic Women of St. Mary’s Parish, Lake Leelanau, hereby offer our heartfelt sympathy and understanding to the bereaved family of Glenn Bork Kirt.
