Plant sale this weekend

The Leelanau Conservancy’s annual Plant Sale on the Village Green in Leland is on for Memorial Day weekend. The sale features native ferns, trillium and more, “rescued” from properties are under construction, among others.

The Leelanau Conservancy’s annual Plant Sale on the Village Green in Leland is on for Memorial Day weekend.

The sale features native ferns, trillium and more, “rescued” from properties are under construction, among others.

Hours from the sale are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until all is sold.

Plant varieties are limited and will sell out. Come early for best selection.

All proceeds help maintain and beautify the Village Green as well as assist with other Conservancy projects.

The Wildflower Rescue Committee is always looking for flowers to rescue. If you own property and have upcoming construction, please contact us to rescue the native plants.
