12:11 p.m. — Centerville Township — Pontoon on fire at the dock. Nothing found by responders. May have been a small battery that put itself out. (Wasn’t a boat. It’s stripped down pontoon base. No operating capacity. They have outfitted it to be a raft and bring it in and keep it on the lift every evening.)
1:29 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller just discovered two bullet holes in his barn.
3:07 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two miniature horses loose near caller’s house.
5:41 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Overlook 9/10 on Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive. Law enforcement out with males who failed to pay entry fee and ran through the gate.
6:26 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Blue Volvo all over the road. Northbound.
11:59 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller heard a loud bang on her door. Saw some wet footprints on her porch. Thinks it may just be kids fooling around.
Saturday, May 25
12:40 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller is reporting a vehicle half in the ditch with its hazards on. Jeep Liberty with person inside trying to get out. Subject arrested for operation while intoxicated and another warrant.
8:41 a.m. — Empire Township — Bear on caller’s back deck looks to be injured.
11:09 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller found a gun in a drawer of a house she is cleaning.
11:45 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two people in a row boat can’t get back to shore. (They made it. No longer need assistance.)
12:05 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Vehicle in a no parking area at the DNR boat launch and the caller wasn’t able to catch it before subjects on into boat and onto the lake.
1:28 p.m. — Solon Township — Elderly woman left her purse at the farm stand. (Wallet returned to owner.)
7:53 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Gray Dodge Challenger northbound from M-22-Cherry Bend Road. Been driving erratically for about four minutes.
9:05 p.m. — Empire Township — Cars parked in handicapped spots without handicap permits.
10:19 p.m. — Leland Township — Loud music coming from a boat on the water in north Lake Leelanau. Believed to be between the Country Club and Celebration house. Caller is worried that teenage boys are out drinking and being too loud.
11:10 p.m. — Leland Township — Police cars speeding through downtown Lake Leelanau at “like 100+ mph.” Caller was advised that officers were on their way to an emergent call. Caller said that it’s still not OK and they are not speed racers.
11:34 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller’s neighbor has a tractor parked in caller’s orchard.
Sunday, May 26
2:46 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller said a group of intoxicated men came into store and then left in a silver Dodge Ram headed northbound on S. West Bay Shore Drive.
12:14 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller reports yard “all messed up” and tire laying across the road. Looks like an accident occurred. Happened after 10 a.m. when caller went to church. Corner road sign bent down. Grass torn up on caller’s yard and vehicle debris.
12:40 p.m. — Solon Township — Black GMC Denali swerving all over the road. Westbound toward Empire.
1:59 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Park ranger out with two individuals at Lake Michigan Road.
2:47 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Park ranger out with individual at Good Harbor Picnic Area.
3:39 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Black GMC, possibly a Yukon or Suburban are speeding around downtown. Last seen five minutes ago. Northbound on St. Joseph from Jefferson Street.
3:57 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Gray Trailblazer in accident at North Jacobson and East Kolarik Road. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.
4:25 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — White Cadillac with blue top. Two individuals in it. One has a warrant; neither of them have licenses and are buying alcohol.
5:37 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — About 30 minutes ago, a guy in a truck attempted to take a boat that was attached to a U-Haul truck. Caller wants to talk to an officer.
Monday, May 27
12:09 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Stalking complaint.
12:21 p.m. — Solon Township — Black cow along the side of the road. Cow is back in the pasture. Owner is going to return and make sure they are all in a second secure area.
12:29 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Subject is walking. Women with kids said he took his cloths off.
2:35 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Daughter is slamming doors. Abusive. Creates conflict.
7:54 p.m. — Empire Township — Girlfriend has caller’s vehicle and won’t give it back.
9:56 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Subject ran away about 45 minutes ago. Ongoing issue. Mobile in the area. Subject is safe.
10:06 p.m. — Kasson Township — Three-to-four motorcycles driving very fast through the area.
Wednesday, May 29
3:17 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Cows in the road. Contact made with owners and they are going to get the cows.
