Glen Lake claimed a Northwest Conference championship Thursday as Glen Lake won (344), Leland finished second (358), and Frankfort (362) finished third in the season-long championship. Frankfort came in fourth (374), Onekama in fifth (382), and Kingsley in sixth (407).
Glen Lake junior Michael Houtteman claimed an individual conference championship, shooting a 73 (-12) par, edging out Benzie central senior Chrstien Westcott (74). Leland junior Max Waldrud finished third with an 86, while Connor Wenkel (Benzie) finished fourth; Leland freshman Hayden VanSteenhouse finished fifth (88); Glen Lake senior Jacob Switzer, Onekama’s Perton Clouse, and Frankfort’s Cash Rosum finished tied for sixth (89); Glen Lake junior Ben Romzek finished ninth (90).
