The Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes & Glen Lake Community Library will host book talk by author and environmentalist Jane Elder tonight at 7. Elder will discuss her new book, “Wilderness, Water & Rust” which weaves together memorials from her life in the upper Midwest with nearly 50 years of environmental policy work, presenting a unique insider’s perspective into the quest to protect the Great Lakes.
