The Leelanau Conservation District is hosting its annual Native Plant Sale Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Bear Den Gallery, 5046 S West Bay Shore Dr. south of Suttons Bay.
The curated selection of plants by Birdsfoot Native Nursery are ecosystem and organism focused and are suitable for restoration projects, shoreline stabilization, and landscaping.
The Conservation District will be delivering advance-order sales and also offering a limited selection of 38-plug garden kits and quart pots which will include a number of native wildflowers and grasses such as bergamot, columbine, and milkweed.
