To the editor:
Why is our VFW Post 7731 Memorial Day program a success? All of our members work hard to host this important event. We have good advanced advertising and we have good newspaper coverage.
But it’s more than that. We provide serious, somber, patriotic, truthful entertainment that citizens want to hear. We live in a patriotic community that actually comes out and participates. We need to all be thankful for that. We hope to see everyone again on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11.
