Members of Glen Lake’s Class of 2024 were awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships during an event May 23.
Many of these scholarships are supported by local fundraising efforts. Among them is the Glen Lake Chili Cook-Off, which doubles as a mid-winter gettogether.
Funds raised at the February event were distributed to six members of the Class of 2024 in $1,000 scholarships. The recipients are Eleanor Valkner, Ava Raymond, Paige Flores, Ella Sheffer, Dylan Cundiff and Ella Flores.
