Point Broadband continues working to bring high speed internet to our county. That work is largely funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Drafted by the Democratic Congress with 220 Democrats voting aye, 211 Republicans, including Congressman Bergman, voting nay. Signed into law by Democratic President Biden. Ground work for the Point Broadband effort was led by former Democratic County Commissioner Soutas-Little and supported by current Democratic County Commissioner Wessell. As you enjoy high speed internet, remember what Democrats did and what 211 Republicans, including our own Congressman Bergman, did not do.
