To the editor:
Massachusetts has been developing a lot of small and large solar field displays. But when the grass grows tall, it can block the sun from the solar panels. Large mowers can hit the displays and damage them. So there is a new solution that is quickly taking hold. Solar companies renting these farm fields are now importing sheep herds, because they keep the grass low, naturally fertilize the soil and do not damage the panels. They are beginning to experiment with pigs as well, but not goats as they would try to jump up on the solar panels!
This kind of 2 for 1 symbiosis is terrific — good for Michigan as well?
