To the editor:
I’d like to comment on last week’s letter to the editor titled “Walks the Walk” written by Steve Gilbreath about the community involvement activities of Kama Ross. Not only is Kama currently involved in the Northport music scene and on the county commissioners board, she also has served in the Peace Corps and a host of other activities too long to mention in her earlier years. To no surprise Kama just recently signed up to wash boats at the launches on Lake Leelanau in her valuable spare time. Thank you, Kama, for all you do. Truly a giver, not a taker.
