12:29 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller was run off the road by a dump truck. Caller had to go onto the shoulder. White, F-250 Platinum. Thirty minutes ago. Headed west to a construction site.
Wednesday, June 19
1:47 a.m. — Empire Township — Audi SUV parked across the street from the caller’s house with the lights on. Caller turned on motion light and the car moved to the other side of the street in front of neighbors. Caller just wants it noted. Caller called back. Advised the woman is there again. (Deputy north of town on foot helping look for a dog — a dachshund named “Zucchini.”) 3:50 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Traffic stop. Driver taken into custody for operating while intoxicated.
6:21 p.m. — Bingham Township — Southbound on M-22, small green car, passing at high rate of speed.
9:02 p.m. — Bingham Township — Gray Subaru. Driver given sobriety test. Taken into custody for operating while intoxicated.
Thursday, June 20
1:42 a.m. — Kasson Township — People hanging out in the street being very loud. Caller would like them to quiet down.
1:44 p.m. — Centerville Township — Single vehicle in the ditch on its side. Single occupant. In custody for operating while intoxicated.
4:48 p.m. — Empire Township — Two men fighting over a backpack blower.
6:20 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — This morning there was a male who was blocking people in the parking lot and yelling and screaming at people. Silver Chrysler minivan.
9:15 a.m. — Empire Township — Subject causing a disturbance. Would like him trespassed.
10:54 a.m. — Leland Township — Barking dog. Ongoing issue. Last night at 11 p.m.
2:33 p.m. — Bingham Township — Bicyclist had a mishap. Deputy rending assistance.
7:20 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Black SUV had been tailgating caller’s work crew for about 7 or 8 miles. Westbound on M-22.
Friday, June 21
6:30 a.m. — Solon Township — Black Great Dane running around the neighborhood. Ongoing issue.
8:53 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller wants to speak to the lieutenant about threatening texts from a subject.
9:52 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller inquiring as to if a subject was in fact, trespassed from the locations he requested yesterday.
10:32 a.m. — Kasson Township — Larceny of $1,000 worth of lumber.
10:54 a.m. — Empire Township — Caller was at his Leelanau property this week. Just got home. Thinks a gun was left in the garage.
12:32 p.m. — Centerville Township — Honda key fob lost two days ago.
1:37 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Having an estate sale and purse was stolen off the porch.
3 p.m. — Bingham Township — Australian Shepherd type. White, black and brown. Caller doesn’t recognize the dog. Was micro-chipped and returned to owner.
3:18 p.m. — Leland Township — Larceny of a necklace from business. Caller doesn’t want to speak to a deputy or press charges. Just wanted it logged as information.
8:38 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Caller would like a welfare check on subject. Caller is concerned because she stopped responding to her text messages and isn’t answering calls.
9:46 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — People laying in the street. Black Escalade went down St. Marys and took a left. Out with a bunch of people sitting and laying on the side of the road. EMS requested.
9:54 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller is requesting a welfare check on a friend who has been living out of his truck for a while. He has not been in contact with anyone in a while. And hasn’t been paying his rent for a while. (Welfare is fine.)
10:51 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller advising someone took her belongings thinking it was trash.
Saturday, June 22
8:49 a.m. — Centerville Township — Illegal camping. Citation issued.
1:20 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Black Shepherd mix with white patch on chest. About 50 lbs. Possibly female. Powder blue collar. Looks hungry but caller can’t get close. Feeding it because it seems hungry.
4:55 p.m. — Leland Township — Dark gray Jeep Cherokee off the side of the road. Ran out of gas. Now driver has gas, but is unable to get it inside the tank. Demanding police help with traffi c as the female is out attempting to direct traffic herself.
9:11 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller is staying at Brook Haven Cottages. Taxi outside has been siting for more than an hour. Caller is nervous because it has been there for a long time and hasn’t picked up anyone.
Sunday, June 23
12:50 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Ex is present. Drunk and aggressive. (Both parties separated for the night.)
12:46 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Trump and “Support our Sheriff” signs taken overnight.
1:24 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Vehicle is not stopping. Arrest made for operating while intoxicated.
4:17 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Bicyclist advised, “if on the road, you have to abide by traffic laws.”
7:12 p.m. — Solon Township — White Lexus. Sobriety tests performed. Driver arrested for operating while intoxicated.
8:22 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller is an off-duty park employee. Found 7-year-old dressed in all black standing on the side of the road crying, saying he lost his family. (Caller called back and advised that the family showed up and they have since left the scene with the child.
8:32 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Caller reports that someone is pretending to be her. Has stolen everything. No one is helping her. (Per law enforcement, caller did not want to speak anymore with him. Would not give name of the officer she previously spoke with.)
Monday, June 24
6:34 a.m. — Empire Township — Overturned car in the ditch. Silver Oldsmobile.
9:21 a.m. — Solon Township — Missing dog. 10-year-old Pomchi. Male. Brown with no collar. Missing since Saturday.
9:25 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller has a vehicle they’d like towed. It’s been let in their lot.
10:59 a.m. — Empire Township — Wife bit by dog. Dog kept going up the trail.
1:48 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Suspicious looking motor home parked in the woods. Caller hasn’t seen actual illegal activity but thinks law enforcement should check it out.
2:08 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Black GMC SUV parked for the last 30 minutes blocking the road. Male is down by the beach and is trespassing.
2:30 p.m. — Solon Township — Herd of 30 cows in caller’s yard.
7:53 p.m. — Solon Township — White van with ladders on the roof. Swerving into oncoming lane. Speeding up and then slowing down.
8:54 p.m. —Elmwood Township — White Ford Explorer traveling at a high rate of speed. Passing cars on double- yellow.
10:11 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Neighbor across the street is playing music really loud and working on his car. (Called back and advised that the noise has stopped and no response is needed.)
Tuesday, June 25
1:35 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Groups of kids gather. (All were returned to their parents who didn’t know they were out.)
2:07 a.m. — Empire Township — White Acura. Sobriety tests. Taken into custody for operating while intoxicated.
6:43 a.m. — Bingham Township — Neighbor is taking down caller’s no trespassing signs. He also keeps trespassing on caller’s property.
