Natalie Woods’ daughter at the Bay

The Bay Community Theatre in Sutton Bay will host a red carpet event, July 20, as they welcome the daughter of the late Natalie Wood. Natasha Gregson Wagner will be sharing the life of her mother and discuss the HBO documentary, “Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind.” The film tells the story of the woman, the friend, the wife, and mother as related by friends, colleagues, and family.

The Bay Community Theatre in Sutton Bay will host a red carpet event, July 20, as they welcome the daughter of the late Natalie Wood.

Natasha Gregson Wagner will be sharing the life of her mother and discuss the HBO documentary, “Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind.”

The film tells the story of the woman, the friend, the wife, and mother as related by friends, colleagues, and family.

Wagner is a co-producer of the film and personally conducted many of the interviews for the film.

Doors will open at 5:30 Saturday night. A cocktail hour will start at 6 p.m., during which attendees will have an opportunity to purchase her memoir, “More Than Love: An Intimate Portrait of My Mother, Natalie Wood.”

There will be a question and answer prior to the 7 p.m. viewing of the documentary.

Tickets are available to the public for $50 each. Included in the price are the reception consisting of appetizers, two glass of Mawby sparking wine and a piece of birthday cake to toast and celebrate Woods’ 86th birthday which occurs that same day. Attendees will also receive a raffle ticket for special giveways.

Ticket pricing also help to support the non-profit Bay Community Theatre.

This special event is part of the Bay’s Nataline Wood Film Festival which will feature five additional films: a $1 matinee (1 p.m.) showing of “Driftwood” on July 16, and four additional films, each for $5. These include “Splendor in the Grass” and “West Side Story” July 18 at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., respectively, and “Love With A Perfect Stranger” and “Rebel Without a Cause” on July 19, also at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The event is expected to be a sellout, as Bay Theatre members have purchased nearly 100 tickets by advanced notice.
