Well folks let’s get right to it, the Fourth of July week is a biggie as always in Glen Arbor, the annual parade is open to anyone who wants to celebrate the founding of our great country. Meet at Glen Haven Thursday morning early at 10:30 a.m. If you want to walk starts at the Christian Science Church in Glen Arbor. Candy will be thrown, so it’s up to the parents to keep the kids in check and let the people sweeping candy to the side to keep them safe.
The grand marshal of our Fourth of July Parade will be Jim Dorsey. Jim is a native Glen Lake person and he well deserves being the grand marshal. Jim Dorsey was postmaster for 28 years. Mr. Dorsey is celebrating his 99th birthday, and I can assure everyone, he is still active. He’s an amazing guy.
