A Maine man has applied for a permit to dredge 121 cubic yards in a wetland area just south of the Lake Leelanau Narrows as part of work required to build a boathouse.
Craig OkerStromLang, whose address in a public notice issued by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) is 11 Bridge St. Suite 10, Great Barrington, is proposing to build a 20-foot wide by 28-foot long boathouse. In addition, a 124-foot long by 4-foot elevated boardwalk is proposed.
