VOTE YES on the Early Childhood Millage on the August ballot. This groundbreaking initiative is parent-led and informed by the science of learning. Eighty-five percent of brain development happens before age 5.
Recently it was reported (JAMA Pediatrics, Jan 4, 2022) that children born during COVID are slower to walk, talk, and appropriately relate to others.
Kids 0-6 years who participate in Parenting Communities, funded by the Early Childhood millage, learn motor and verbal skills and how to interact with others, and parents learn parenting skills and expected developmental milestones. Let’ssetourchildren up for success! Vote YES!
