To the editor:
Parenting Communities is such a gift to our county. It provides essential learning opportunities for little developing brains and bodies and support and resources for families to help their children grow and get ready for more formal schooling. Children who have a supportive family that nurtures their curiosity and exploration through play and a variety of experiences are better equipped to succeed in school. Parenting Communities provides the framework to support families in helping our children as they grow into positive contributors of our community. Let’s do all we can to ensure the viability of this much needed community resource.
