Parent connections

To the editor:

I cannot speak highly enough of Parenting Communities. Raising very young children in a rural area can be so isolating, yet I am more connected to the Leelanau community than ever as a direct result of this incredible program. My daughter, husband, and I have developed meaningful and supportive friendships through Parenting Communities playgroups and workshops. The warm and welcoming early childhood experts who run them are a consistent, positive part of my daughter’s life and have helped us become better parents. Please vote yes on the Early Childhood Services Millage Proposal to keep this much needed program going!
