10:55 a.m. — Bingham Township — Trailer abandoned in the middle of the road.

Thursday, July 11

10:55 a.m. — Bingham Township — Trailer abandoned in the middle of the road. (Trailer was removed.)

1:17 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Parking issue at St. Mary Street and Madison Avenue.

1:32 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Parking issue at North Front and East Madison Avenue.

3:29 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Two dogs in the bed of a truck in cages. Very hot and panting. (Tailgate is open. They have water. They are not in distress, per law enforcement.)

3:57 p.m. — Centerville Township — Someone was on caller’s property and left caution tape around the trees.

4:05 p.m. — Solon Township — Subject was staying at caller’s house and caused damage. Also used his ATV without permission and tore up the property.

4:43 p.m. — Leland Township — Caller’s wife is driving without a license to Suttons Bay. He is concerned that if she got pulled over the dogs would be taken.

6:01 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller has an inn and someone parked a car in front of her driveway and is blocking it. Gray Ford sedan.

7:29 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Caller lost an orange and black backpack blower. Caller called again. There was a posting on social media that the blower had been found. Caller is getting it back.

9:22 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller advised that the VRBO she had rented had someone inside when they got there.

Friday, July 12

1:16 a.m. — Bingham Township — Caller’s wife is in the tasting room of a business. Caller advises she is intoxicated and he does not know what to do with her at this point.

3:54 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Son is drunk/disorderly carrying around a hand ax.

8:34 a.m. — Kasson Township — Caller had paving work done by a company and then got a message saying that is a “gypsy” company and they don’t pull the proper permits. Caller is wondering what he should do.

10:50 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

11:37 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Elderly male fell in the middle of the street.

2:52 p.m. — Bingham Township — Southbound on M-22. Vehicle is riding right on caller’s bumper. It’s a red sedan. Caller is in a white HHR.

2:56 p.m. — Empire Township — Little girl said she is running away. (Reunited with parents.)

3:01 p.m. —Suttons Bay Township — Caller is driving a Ford F-150 white with black topper. Said there were some guy’s driving new black, Chevy Tahoe that sold him some surround sound equipment. After they departed he realized it wasn’t complete.

5:03 p.m. — Kasson Township — Girlfriend was coming from Chicago with three children. Spoke with her last night when she said she had a flat tire. Would like to know what to do.

5:26 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller had keys in her cooler, in the parking. Someone stole the cooler. Last saw cooler about 45 minutes ago. (Upon further check of the vehicle, the cooler was placed in the trunk and the keys were in the cup holder.

5:35 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Son got a call from mother saying she was in pain. Requesting a welfare check.

6:22 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Dispatcher can hear kids screaming and thinks there should be a welfare check. Kids enjoying the summer playing in the pool. 6:40 p.m. — Centerville Township — Park ranger out with a large group that has no permit.

7:04 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Caller states someone is trying to sell his property. Listed on a website. Someone using caller’s name has fraudulent signing listing documents.

7:50 p.m. — Bingham Township — Caller reports a semi-truck with large tanks on the bed appear to be very loosely strapped down. Caller is afraid that they might fall off. (Per law enforcement, a couple tanks that are crooked but they are empty and strapped down just fine.)

8:38 p.m. — Bingham Township — Two houses to the east there are loud fireworks going off.

9:02 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Ranger contact four people on the beach in a white Subaru. Minors have been drinking. Have arranged for a driver to pick up. Car will remain there overnight.

9:52 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Paddleboarder way off in the distance. “Just a speck on the horizon.” (Paddleboarder made it safely back to shore.)

11:56 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Law enforcement out with a couple vehicles on the south side of the marina.

Saturday, July 13

12:02 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Law enforcement out with a subject that fled the scene at the marina.

7:05 a.m. — Bingham Township — RV camper camped overnight at Boughey Park. They are moving along.

8:05 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Family troubles. Husband assaulted caller. (Male in custody).

9:50 a.m. — Leland Township — 42-foot Sabor gray and white disabled off Leland. Coast Guard arrived. Boat will be towed to Sturgeon Bay for repairs.

11:58 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Paddleboarder is out in the lake and can’t get in. Has PFD on him. (Paddleboat declined assistance. Made it safely to shore.)

1:07 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Child, 10, is missing at the Dune Climb. Located near marker 18. Reunited with family.

3:32 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Male, age 12, missing on the dunes. Parents in the parking lot. (Child returned.)

6:37 p.m. — Centerville Township — Two people on a 26-foot Crest pontoon. Boat near RV park. Boaters made a call for tow. 2.5-hour wait. (Another boat gave them a tow back home.)

8:40 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Little kids jumping off breakwall of Northport Marina. Caller just wants someone to know.

9:04 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Son, 16, left a couple hours ago to ride bike on heritage trail. (Youth located at the Dune Climb.)

Sunday, July 14

12:06 a.m. — Kasson Township — Male states that his girlfriends popped his tire on his truck. But he didn’t want law enforcement to respond. (Per law enforcement, nothing physical occurred. Tire is flat. But doesn’t look like anything malicious.)

1:18 p.m. — Leland Township — Sailboat overturned. Can’t see the occupant right now but he did have a PFD on.

2:34 p.m. — Solon Township — Purse found. Returned to owner. All items intact.

4:37 p.m. — Leland Township — Multiple vehicles parked at the cemetery and are using the beach there. Thinks they should be told to move along.

5:26 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Vehicle just hit 13 mailboxes. Came around the corner at a high rate of speed. Young male driver. Front end damage.

9:11 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller is advising that her boyfriend is angry and making a mess. (Verbal argument only, per law enforcement.)

Monday, July 15

2:49 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Suspicious vehicle behind Subway.

7:16 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Brown dog on caller’s porch. Floppy ears with collar. Caller unable to get close. (Caller called back to say the dog has been picked up by its owner.)

9:54 a.m. — Solon Township — Subject bit by dog while dog sitting.

12:15 p.m. — Leland Township — Older Chevy, silver in color with boat trailer has been parked on the road for four days.

1:39 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Hobie Cat, 16-footer, sinking near Gull Island. Everyone has life jackets. (Vessel towed back to Northport).

5:29 p.m. — Leland Township — Small, red Hyundai four-door traveling at varying speeds and crossing the center line.

5:36 p.m. — Solon Township — Persons reportedly camping illegally at the tennis courts in Cedar.

11:08 p.m. — Kasson Township — Caller reports a vehicle took the curves too quickly and appears that something fell off the back on the truck and is now in caller’s ditch.

May have to get the fire department to help with cleanup. There’s a lot of sludge on the road. It’s “a mess.”

Tuesday, July 16

1:17 a.m. — Solon Township — Vehicle on the side of the road. Driver taken into custody for operating while intoxicated.
