1.) The township recreation committee has become re-energized and has a lot of ideas about how to improve recreational opportunities for residents and visitors in Solon Township.

The blueprint for future recreation is the township park master plan, updated in 2023. However, the township board has not taken the initiative to place a millage for this purpose on the ballot. What is your position on this matter?

2.) There have been recent complaints that the township violated the state Open Meetings Act (OMA) by failing to post a special meeting and take minutes. What’s your knowledge of the Act?
