Robert Edward Feys, known affectionately as Bob, passed away on July 19, 2024 at the age of 78 in Maple City, Michigan. Born on September 24, 1945, in Pontiac, Michigan, Bob spent his formative years in the state he would call home throughout his life.
Bob dedicated many years of service to Ford Automotive, a commitment that married his passion for cars and mechanics. This passion extended into his retirement, where he could often be tinkering in his garage or enjoying time on his boat-activities that brought him immense joy and peace.
A loving family man, Bob’s life was enriched by his beloved wife of 14 years, Sandra Feys (Aprill), his three sons, Chris (Sandy), Tim, and Jason (Danelle) and his stepsons, Brandan ( Jessica), Jason, and Michael (Nicole). His family circle included his cherished grandchildren: Andrew, Derrick, Cassie, Stone, Sequoia, Rory, Alex, Lydia, Liam, and Isabella, who brought him great happiness. He is also survived by his brothers, Jeff, Don, and John, his aunt and preceded in death by his aunt and his brother Dick.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on August 11, 2024, from 12 noon to 4 PM at his family home at 50 East Stoney Ridge Rd, Maple City, Michigan. This gathering will honor his memory and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.
