More antennas soon on county tower

The just-built communications tower at the county government center remains devoid of antennas, but emergency management director Matt Ansorge expects that to change.

The county built the tower, the second at the government center, with intention to lease a portion of the structure to Verizon.

Instead, Verizon has been granted approval from Suttons Bay Township to build a tower atop the intersection of Herman and Bahle roads a few miles away.
