St. Peter’s Summer Chapel, located in Leland, will host The Rev. Canon Nurya Love Parish this coming weekend, August 10 and 11.
This past March, Canon Parish assumed oversight of the Northern Collaborative of the newly – formed Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes – formerly the Dioceses of Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan.
In 2014 she founded Plainsong Farm & Ministry, Rockford, Michigan, now serving as an agency of the Episcopal Church linking the renewal of the environment and the renewal of the church. SheservedasChairof the Legislative Committee on Environmental Stewardship and Care of Creation for the Episcopal Church’s 81st General Convention held this past June in Louisville.
