To the editor:
I’m grateful to Joe Biden and believe history will judge him as an exceptional president. But I’m glad he stepped aside. Harris and Walz’s energy, joy and positivity are a breath of fresh air to the race; a stark contrast to Trump’s “America is awful” diatribe and his constant lies. America is the greatest country in the world, with the strongest economy. Inflation is coming down. Wages are up. Border crossings are lower than when Trump was in office. Violent crime is at a 50-year low. Harris/Walz will bring America together; Trump will continue to tear us apart.
