8:33 a.m. — Leland Township — Ongoing issue with multiple drones above caller’s property.
10:43 a.m. — Solon Township — Caller went to a website. Gave someone access to computer. Caller has contacted his bank. (Advised to keep a close look on his accounts, per law enforcement.)
11:16 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Someone dropped a bicycle in caller’s front yard three days ago.
11:45 a.m. — Bingham Township — Animal welfare check. Cats left on property from previous tenant. (Deputy saw a couple cats, but they appeared to be in good health.)
12:40 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Suitcase left outside along caller’s building. Caller is afraid to open or look at it. It was there this morning at 9:30.
1:31 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller would like to speak with an officer about a large German Shepherd that is “out of control.” Dog is leashed. However, caller is concerned that this is not being addressed and a potential incident could happen.
5:33 p.m. — Centerville Township — Caller purchased Apple gift cards in return for money. Scam.
7:12 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller scammed out of money when she tried to by an air conditioning unit from someone in Ohio.
9:11 p.m. — Bingham Township — White Dodge Charger driving erratically. Passing when oncoming traffic present.
Thursday, Aug. 8
12:45 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller reports someone flying drones around her house. Caller saw one drone tonight and apparently it was out last night as well.
7 a.m. — Leelanau Township — Subject went to the water last night and caller received a text this morning that they never came home last night. (Individual said they were fine. They just got stuck on the rocks. They said they were heading home.)
7:19 a.m. — Bingham Township — Vehicle parked by the TART Trail for over two hours. Windows halfway down. Headlights still on. Silver 4-door sedan. Front of car looks banged up. Caller not comfortable going to check if anyone is in the vehicle. (Subject pulled off because he was tired. He will be heading back to Lake Leelanau.) 9:15 a.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Illegal campers at the Little Glen Lake Picnic Area.
11:39 a.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Neighbors are parked in caller’s driveway. Two vans. Unknown how long they have been there. Caller won’t talk to them but wants the vehicles removed. (Deputy made contact with both parties. They will try to figure out the property lines.)
4:28 p.m. — Centerville Township — Brother and caller had a physical altercation.
5:03 p.m. — Empire Township — Swim platform struck the caller’s bow and there is damage.
8:48 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller reports a vehicle almost struck her. Driver has been drinking.
9:21 p.m. — Kasson Township — Maroon Chevy Silverado in the parking lot with a male sleeping for the past three hours. (Individual had an argument with his wife and is taking a nap. He will be leaving shortly.
9:46 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Smaller car doing donuts in the parking lot. Took off northbound toward Northport.
Friday, Aug. 9
12:06 p.m. — Centerville Township — Broken down vehicle on the side of the road. Vehicle is totaled. Driver went off into the field.
12:20 a.m. — Leland Township — Caller is reporting that there is a drone flying over her house again tonight.
10:24 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Large trash bags in the roadway. Caller is concerned for motorists.
12:13 p.m. — Leelanau Township — Multiple vehicles have disregarded the stop sign at N. Swede and E. Peterson roads in the last half hour.
2:33 p.m. — Centerville Township — Cows loose on the roadway. Approximately eight black cows,. May be in the cornfi elds/ Belong to farm on the corner. (Homeowner reached. He will be there shortly to round them up.)
2:47 p.m. — Bingham Township — Domestic. (Partners agreed to separate for the evening.)
6 p.m. — Solon Township — Caller was heading west on M-72 and almost was hit by a dark-colored Ford Explorer. To avoid a head-on collision, caller hit a white post on the side of the road.
7:57 p.m. — Leelanau Township — White Honda. Open intoxicants.
Saturday, Aug. 10
1:12 a.m. — Elmwood Township — White Chevy truck on sobriety tests. One in custody for operating while intoxicated.
8:57 a.m. — Kasson Township — Caller has easement on piece of property he sold. But new owner says his easement is invalid. Easement appears valid but if the other property owners chooses to bring a civil suit. (He’ll have to deal with that through the court.)
11:33 a.m. — Leland Township — Dog from across the road, large Golden Retriever, comes across the road. It is loose on many occasions around the neighborhood and in road. Is friendly but caller is concerned for his chickens.
6:12 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Father and son were having a verbal argument. Nothing physical.
7:14 p.m. — Solon Township — Two males are destroying caller’s property with bulldozers.
9:40 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Resident is worried about noise coming from a house on Manitou Blvd. having a bonfire and making too much noise. Caller asked about a noise ordinance. (Per law enforcement, no noise in the area.)
11:51 p.m. — Suttons Bay Township — Caller advised his sister called him crying that she was hurt and that her boyfriend beat her up.
Sunday, Aug. 11
10:22 a.m. — Bingham Township — Activity affecting neighbors. Potential for future dispute. Neighbor is operating a public campground and campers are trespassing on caller’s property. Advertising the ability to trespass on property.
12:54 p.m. — Leland Township — Two big dogs in a crate in the back of a Honda Element. Rear of car is open. One is a German Shepherd. They are barking and very intimidating.
2:05 p.m. — Cleveland Township — Two weeks ago, strange men approached caller and asked if she worked alone. Today, the same men came back, accompanied by a female and asked her again if she works alone. They departed in a red van.
2:15 p.m. — Bingham Township — Ford F-150. Burgundy. Repossessed.
3:25 p.m. — Elmwood Township — Ford F-150. Gray. Repossessed.
5:35 p.m. — Glen Arbor Township — Female, 12, was on the dock. Caller now can’t see her. Child had paddle board and went out of sight of family. (She was located.)
7:54 p.m. — Bingham Township — Dark blue SUV swerving all over the roadway and into oncoming traffic. (One taken into custody for operating while intoxicated.)
Monday, Aug. 12
12:25 a.m. — Elmwood Township — Guy walking down the road. Headed north. It looked like he was carrying a weapon. (Subject taken into custody on a warrant.)
6:21 a.m. — Empire Township — White camper van has been parked in the north parking lot the last few nights. Caller believes someone is camping overnight. Caller is in his boat across the water so he is unable to get the make/model or plate. (Contact made. Information provided. Owner will be moving along.)
