To the editor:
I live on Wheeler Rd near the existing Palmer Woods staging area. For residents at the north end whose lives are now affected by the expansion, you should know that we’ve been suffering the disruptive consequences of having a national attraction installed in our front yard since its beginning. My neighbors and I saw this expansion coming from the beginning but there were only a few of us that were vocal with the Conservancy. They continued with their plans and one of us moved because of it. Please keep in mind that what’s unacceptable at the north end is unacceptable at the south end. Our quality of life has been damaged, too.
It seems our area is now controlled by the ideas of a few people who value popularity over integrity. Tom Nelson tells me “It could be worse”. Well, it is worse and continues to get worse. We supported his promise to keep it the same.
