Dog poo

To the editor: I love dogs. I love animals.

To the editor:

I love dogs. I love animals. It’s the people that OWN the dogs. The ones that don’t pick up their dog’s poo.

I live on the corner of Bay and Nagonaba Streets, where the Dog Parade ends. On the day of the parade, I walked out my door to dog poo that had been walked in, all the way to the library. It took me a lot of time to get it out of the stone cement with a broom and hose.

Not much later, a second time, dog poo again and stepped in again. Out comes the broom and hose again.

As if that wasn’t enough, standing on my steps, a lady stopped and let her dog poo right in front of me. Then she asked me if I had a plastic bag, because she didn’t bring one. So she tried to pick it up, but it only made more of a mess. She said she’d be back to clean it up. NOT! I couldn’t just leave it, so out comes the broom and hose AGAIN.

This was how I spent my time with the dog parade.
