Art exhibit benefits groups

The art of Karen Jacob will be on exhibit Friday and Saturday at the Empire Township hall.

The exhibit will be open from Friday morning through Saturday evening, with a reception on Friday evening, the 23rd at 7 p.m.

This is a charitable event. All proceeds from donations and art sales will be contributed to the League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, the state’s leading educational organization for environmental preservation, and the Empire Area Community Center, the local charitable organization that helps families in need and seeks to enhance the quality of life of area residents.
